OUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fire Department;

With its vehicles and technological capabilities, it is responsible for controlling and ensuring active and passive fire prevention measures, assisting in life-saving activities and debris removal, performing radioactive decontamination (by washing), and ensuring the control and extinguishing of fires that occur within its responsibility area.

Law on Civil Defense No. 7126

Additional Article 9: Public institutions and organizations, as well as private institutions, must establish teams from their existing personnel for firefighting, prepare fire prevention and extinguishing plans, and have the necessary equipment and materials ready, depending on the nature of the organization. Individuals also take necessary measures to fight fires. The implementation of this article is regulated by regulations issued by the President.

REGULATIONS ON CIVIL DEFENSE MEASURES AND ORGANIZATIONS

ARTICLE 57: Firefighting, rescue, and first aid services must be established in public and private institutions subject to planning with a population of less than 200 in sensitive areas and in institutions with a population of more than 100 outside sensitive areas.
